MCB8-256-ONE
Monitoring and Control Box
MCB8-256-ONE is a monitoring and control box that acts as a slave for a master dedicated server. A common communication protocol allows proper communication between the box(es) and the master server. Client can develop their own software to communicate with MCB8-256 using the communication protocol. MCB8-256 can be used in applications such as:
- Monitoring: Sensor data acquisition and logging to a known online internet address.
- Control: Opening and closing DC solenoid valves, or turning DC relays on or off by commands received from SMS or data.
- Turning on and off power switches
- Allows control only to either permitted username and passwords which can be updated real-time or keypad passes that can be updated periodically.
- Can act as an slave for a master server that can control many other slaves.
- It can track itself using GPS, and log location to a master server.
- Communicate with sensors using RS485.
- Receive analog inputs.
- And much more. Contact us at info@evincitech.com for more information
MCB8-256-ONE includes many protection and versatility features, including but not limited to:
- GSM/2G/3G/GPS
- SMA active GPS and GSM antenna connections
- On-board 260kHz 3A 5V, 260kHz 3A 4.05V, 100mA 3.3V regulators
- 47A-rated MOSFET outputs. Contrl pins protected by isolation. MOSFET outputs are protected by flyback diode and TVS. Unassembled RC can be used as snubber.
- Protected inputs for a Wiegand keypad
- Omron G5LA-14 DC5 safety relay, PTC, 5kW TVS, and trapezoid filter for outputs
- Internal temperature
- Accelerometer/magnetometer
- 400W TVS, 5kA GDT, 300mA/2kV Surge protected RS485
- Ability to perform fault-protected pulse sensing (K-Line)
- TVS/high-rate/range protected analog inputs.
- Auto fuse holder, thermal cutoff, PTC, input schottky, 5kW input TVS, input trapezoid filter
The box can be used in unsafe, toxic, and/or secure places, and be controlled remotely using wireless data communication or SMS.
The box allows authenticated communication only to permitted users through SMS or data.
